About the Role
In this role as a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will take the lead on the marketing strategies to establish wienerberger as the partner and solutions provider of choice for architects, specifiers and planners.
You will be generating ideas and driving innovation within this channel to establish us as a strategic partner for our target customers. This will involve a range of marketing activities such as leveraging research, devising, and delivering marketing programmes and measuring revenue growth.
Duties are varied and include:
* Define the target market and how to maximise influence within this customer segment and access the market.
* Drive a clear understanding of segmentation within our business by communicating the segment needs and value/business propositions
* Collaborate with channel/digital/marketing and sales colleagues
* Lead customer insight across the Specification and Factors segment
* Champion the Voice of the Customer
* Devise and implement insight-driven channel plans
* Deliver the Channel Marketing Plan with the support of the channel delivery partner, supported by the Communications and Digital Team
* Work with Sales management to review incoming tactical marketing activity requests
* Track, analyse and report on KPIs
* Partner with the Sales Team to co-create Key Account Marketing plans
* Define and manage the expenditure budget, and track return on marketing investment
* Establish and develop relationships with relevant trade associations and industry bodies and publications.
Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
About You
You will be an experienced marketing professional who has a track record of designing and delivering strategic marketing for building materials, construction products, or related services.
With expertise in leading channel strategy delivery, you will bring strong experience of research/insights and networking with contacts at all levels, whilst maintain a focus on delivering best in class service.
You will have:
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Knowledge of the construction/building/specification sector
* Proven marketing capability, both delivery and strategic level
* Marketing qualifications from a recognised body (eg CIM)
* Experience working in a customer-centric environment
* Experience budget setting and managing activities based on ROI
Desirable
* Proven experience in a customer marketing environment
* Experienced sales lead
* Strong influencing skills
* Strong project management skills
* Experience influencing other departments and colleagues across a number of projects towards a common goal
* Experience promoting products and services to the specification market or working with/in an architects or planners environment
