Main duties of the job
As a Speech and Language Therapist at the Dean Neurological Centre, you will be responsible for leading group therapeutic sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. You will build one-to-one rapport with service users, encouraging engagement and empowering recovery. With experience in managing a designated caseload, you will demonstrate specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generate appropriate strategies for caseload management. You will also undertake audits and contribute to research in the provision of treatments.

As a Speech and Language Therapist you will be:

* Possessing specialist knowledge in the areas of acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* HCPC registration
* Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
