Job summary We have an exciting vacancy for a full time Band 5 Nurse working on a busy Coronary Care Unit You will be required to work in partnership with a well established and highly effective multi-disciplinary team, caring for an extremely vulnerable and complex group of patients, with a range of cardiac needs and conditions. Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who wishes to develop their skills or a newly qualified to join our team on the Acute Coronary Care Unit in Wythenshawe Hospital. We are a level 2 unit providing extensive cardiac services including the running of the regional primary PCI service. We care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions such as STEMI and NSTEMI's, unstable angina, heart failure, rhythm disturbances and support patients through various interventional cardiac procedures (e.g. angioplasty, ablation, TAVI, etc.) As a nurse at the Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT), you will benefit from a number of educational programs and career paths.
