Your future challenge:
We are currently recruiting for Shift Production Operators to join our Production Teams. We rely on the expertise of the Production teams to run our Mill in a safe and efficient way, and we provide full training in the range of different activities undertaken. Our Production Operators work a largely 12-hour shift rota rotating from day to nightshift (with a 24-hour break between), in a cycle which spans 34-days. Operators can enjoy 20 rest days and holidays which are built into the rota. Reporting to the Site Shift Manager, the successful candidate will:
1. Understand and adhere to the Company Safety and Environment policy.
2. Carry out all necessary work to ensure customer requirements are met.
3. Work as part of a team operating machinery to maximum efficiency and throughput.
The successful Shift Production Operators will possess :
4. Level 2 qualifications in English, maths and science/ICT or significant relevant experience or relevant professional qualifications.
5. Excellent teamwork, organisational and communication skills.
6. Knowledge of production processes.
7. Problem-solving abilities.
Candidates shortlisted should be available for an assessment centre onsite and should have certificates/qualifications readily available to verify.
