The Role This is an exciting role for a Construction Solicitor 1-4 PQE to join this leading West End firm, which is gaining an impressive reputation in the market. Construction is a highly important area for the firm given the work they do in the real estate sector more generally. This role will involve working with a highly experienced partner and senior associate with support. To be successful in this role, you must have non-contentious, transactional experience with 1-4 years' PQE - experience in contentious construction matters would also be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite so please apply if you are interested and specialising in non-contentious work. You will need to bring specific experience in JCT contracts, warranties, joint ventures, developments, property contracts, forward funding agreements, and transactions with interaction between the property owner, constructers, and third parties. Ideally, you will also have a detailed working understanding of development agreements. The role is to support the partner and senior associate in the team to enable them to continue to develop the growing department/team, which means the opportunity to progress and develop within a growing environment is a key factor to consider in favour of this position. Requirements: You will be a construction solicitor with 1-4 years PQE. Good technical knowledge specific to construction law.
