As a Training Specialist, support, share and contribute to the exercising of best practice in the Team. Through the merit of your own actions and performance, consistently demonstrate the value of Learning and Development to our customers. Provide help and direction to less experienced team members. Manage and undertake day-to-day (Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) training activities ensuring their delivery on time, to budget and quality. Work with customer and end user to highlight front line training issues that affect system availability and capability. Recommend changes to training affected processes and procedures and follow through with required updates. Provide training decision outputs within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority. Analysis of trending training data to manage training design changes required to improve learning outcomes for the end users. Analyse, design and deliver training to UK MOD JSP822 standards to ensure the Company training outputs remain compliant. Compile data, to a variety of national/international/civil/military specifications, and produce physical/electronic deliverables. Set targets for and manage own development with line manager. Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve own practices. Who are we looking for? Stakeholder engagement and management. Strong proficiency within standard Microsoft Office packages/Authoring tools. Excellent standard of written and spoken English. Engineering knowledge/experience. Writing of bids, proposals and work package costings. Desirable Technical Authoring. Integrated Logistic Support (ILS). Training Experience: Essential Training systems and solution architecture within an engineering environment. Training requirements. Engineering Product Lifecycle. Utilisation and tailoring of Systemised Approach to Training (DSAT, ADDIE). Training Development and Design. Production of Learning outcomes. Training delivery. Desirable Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)/Learning Management Systems (LMS) This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
