Production Planner required to support the Production Manager to oversee and organise the production process in their manufacturing facility. This position is paying an annual salary of £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
The Production Planner will be experienced in utilising a production planning software and be able to provide clear product costs.
Duties:
Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company's products
Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
Assist in scheduling shifts and workers to provide proper coverage
Watching costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
Report on the production status and any production issues to senior management
Assist with production disruptions and productivity problems
Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changesBenefits:
