At the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO), we independently investigate complaints about UK government departments, other public organisations and the NHS in England. Join us as Senior Strategy Advisor, a new role within the organisation, where you can make your mark and improve the accessibility of our own service and strengthen the impact of our work to drive public service improvements. This role will specifically look to embed human rights and equality considerations into our strategy and help make further improvements to our service for underrepresented groups.
The role:
contributing to the development of strategies that underpin the organisations work
work proactively with external stakeholders to understand opportunities to strengthen our impact
supporting organisational projects
developing expertise in societal trends to make our service more accessible to different audiences.
The successful applicant will have:
an understanding of strategy development processes and methods or willingness to learn.
experience of using data and insights to develop and implement strategy and policy
an awareness of public administration (central government in particular) or the NHS and the context in which it operates.
