Head of IT | £50,000 - £60,000 | Hybrid | Professional Services
The Role:
* Strategy Implementation: Execute and oversee the current IT strategy in line with the company's objectives, ensuring timely and effective delivery of IT projects.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including the Service Desk Manager, Service Delivery Manager, and IT Security & Operations Manager. Promote a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Service Desk Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the service desk, providing exceptional support to all staff members across multiple offices.
* Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of IT services to meet business needs and comply with established SLAs. Implement best practices for IT service management and continuous improvement.
* Infrastructure and Operations: Lead IT infrastructure initiatives to ensure robust and reliable systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and effectively manage operational risks.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to understand and address IT needs. Communicate IT developments and initiatives effectively across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior IT management role, ideally within a professional services environment.
* Strong understanding of IT service management, IT infrastructure, and operations management.
* Demonstrated ability to implement IT strategies and lead large-scale IT projects.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
