Account Manager (Accountancy Practice)
Based -Stamford Office
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Working Arrangement: Flexible, hybrid working (3 days office/2 days WFH) after initial probation period
Holiday: 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), increasing by one day per year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager in their Stamford Office. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mixed clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and positive client engagement. Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Provide guidance on year-end accounts, self-assessment, VAT, and management accounts
Review accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Assist team members with technical queries and personal development
Identify tax planning opportunities for clients
Deliver strong commercial awareness and review fee development opportunities
Prepare accounts and tax computations for various business structures
Manage and prioritise internal workflow and assignments to meet deadlines
Drive technological solutions in accounting throughout the office
Assist with ad-hoc client support and support the growth of the Stamford officeRequired Skills and Experience
ACA/ACCA qualified
Minimum 3 years' post-qualified relevant experience in an accountancy practice
Trusted advisor with great technical knowledge and skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proactive and positive attitude
