Sewell Wallis are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Wakefield who are currently looking for an experienced QA Manager to join on a permanent basis.
In this role you will deal with product safety, any compliance legislation plus a number of other ad hoc tasks. The role is extremely varied and requires someone who is happy to 'help out' when necessary.
What will you be doing?
* Setting up and maintaining the Quality Management System.
* Dealing with product safety.
* Handling compliance and reviewing policies.
* Planning & implementing improvements in the Quality Management System.
* Adhering to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, quality & the environment & to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
What skills are we looking for?
* Proven experience in a Quality Manager role ideally within manufacturing.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.
