We are recruiting for an Audit and Compliance Lead, to join our MIS (Management Information Systems) team. In this newly created role you will lead the College's internal audit work in delivering and maintaining the compliance and administration of funding contracts.
As an Audit and Compliance Lead your duties will include:
* Leading and maintaining the annual compliance calendar of events ensuring all areas of compliance are regularly tested and reviewed.
* Supporting internal and external audits as related to Apprenticeship and Further Education funding and policy, providing lead support for the Apprenticeship funding stream and workplace provision.
* Lead on and maintain a cycle of internal audits of documentation, data and IT systems to ensure full compliance with all aspects of Apprenticeship and Further Education funding.
* Write and present detailed reports on findings from internal audits. Implement action plans, systems and processes to ensure all risks/recommendations identified during audits have been satisfactorily addressed.
We are looking for someone with:
* A Higher National/Degree level qualification or significant experience in the Further Education sector working with funding and ILR data.
* GCSE grade A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent.
* Expert knowledge of Apprenticeship funding methodology, including DAS and audit requirements and funding audit processes.
* Knowledge of further education funding methodology, including PDSATs and the ESFA Audit cycle.
