We have an opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Full Sutton. HMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B men's prison that houses around 600 patients, many with complex health needs. Within this role you will be job sharing with another experienced Pharmacist and working in a growing pharmacy team which includes a Senior Technician, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Dispensers. You will also be working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including the healthcare senior leadership where you will actively contribute to safer prescribing and quality assurance processes.
Hours: 8am-4pm, Thursdays and Fridays or Tuesdays and Fridays
Salary: This position is part time, working 15 hours per week. You'll receive an annual salary up to £55,941 per annum FTE depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role; offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing:
As a Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will be:
* Responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations.
* Providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners.
Requirements:
* GPhC registered Pharmacist.
* Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond.
* Management and leadership experience (desirable).
* Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
* Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training.
* Excellent communication skills.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have at least 2 years pharmacist experience.
