Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a first-class IT support service to CDE and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the department. Acting primarily in a 1st line support capacity which will include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware and software. This will cover desktops, laptops, tablets, smart phones and peripheral equipment. The successful candidate will also provide technical support and assistance to all staff on current applications. They will gain experience and an understanding of the IT infrastructure of a business of this size and will be involved in IT projects alongside the rest of the IT Team.
About The Role
Responsibilities
* Daily monitoring of our IT Ticketing system
* Ensuring all support issues/requests are logged on our IT Ticketing system
* Ensuring to meet ticket SLA first response and resolution times
* To maintain a high degree of customer service when responding to support tickets
* To take ownership of support issues and seek closure of assigned tickets
* Escalation of more complex issues to the relevant team member
* Lead IT inductions for all new staff onboarding
* Prioritising and managing several open cases and mini projects at one time
* Maintaining users on Active Directory
* To Service and Administer IT equipment and programs
* Provide Technical Support for Windows, Office365 and other computer software installations
* Supporting VPN and remote workers
* Manage the distribution and setup of hardware and software for company devices
* Ensure Licensing adherence at all times
* Occasionally providing Out of Hours support when required

Desired Criteria
Required Criteria
* Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Experience in a customer-facing role with some technical requirements.
* Problem Solving Skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Available to work flexible hours
* Driving license essential and access to car to be onsite at our Cookstown office and Monkstown office when required.
* Right to Work in the UK
