Primary Responsibilities As Deputy Manager - Care, the role includes:
* Supporting the Home Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Overseeing care plans, ensuring compliance with company policy and monthly evaluations
* Ensuring team competency in medication management, conducting weekly audits, and maintaining accurate medication handling and records
* Facilitating staff development and motivation to enhance team well-being and performance
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3)
* Minimum of three years' experience in a residential or nursing home setting, including at least one year working with individuals living with dementia
* Knowledge of person-centred care planning and safeguarding protocols
* Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
* Ability to commute within 30 minutes of the location
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Two years of experience in a similar management role within a nursing home
* Experience in dementia care and supervising team members
* NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above
* Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care
