IMH Recruitment are seeking an Operations Manager for our client based in Rotherham. This role will involve planning and management of our small Operations and Transport teams, so previous management experience is essential. To oversee and optimise the day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality across all areas of the business. The role involves implementing and monitoring processes to ensure effective resource allocation, smooth operation, and the achievement of organisational goals.
The Role:
* Oversee and optimise daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality across the organisation.
* Develop and implement operational processes to improve resource allocation and workflow.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and profitability.
* Lead, manage, and motivate the operations and logistics team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
* Plan and coordinate workloads and routes for drivers to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
* Maintain daily contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and effective communication.
* Foster cross-departmental collaboration to enhance overall productivity and business performance.
* Monitor and assess performance metrics, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operations and customer experience.
* Support the directors in strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
£33,000-£37,000 dependant on experience
