The role We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Facilities Officer to join our Office & Retail team here at Southern Housing This is a Part time role (15-19 Hours Per Week) Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will ensure Southern Housing offices are well managed and run effectively and efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable working environment for staff. You will also support the delivery of an excellent facilities management service to meet business needs and provide outstanding customer service to our colleagues and external customers. This role is varied and so we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused candidate who wants to thrive in a new working environment and wants to grow their knowledge and skills in facilities management. Please note, this role will require some manual handling, however full training will be provided to you. For this role you will require a full clean driving license with access to your own vehicle. What you'll need: A basic understanding of facilities within an office-based setting IT literacy skills, including learning of new IT systems Ability to react to facilities defects in a timely manner Good administrative skills A strong focus on Health and Safety and compliance Ability to travel across multiple sites.
