Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for the ongoing supervision of care staff and will ensure the service user requirements are met whilst maintaining compliance with care standards in accordance with policies and procedures.
You will be required to provide day-to-day support to the team, assisting with the assessment, setup, and review of health and social care packages. You will ensure that a skilled workforce is in place and able to deliver safe quality care to all clients.
As the Care Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring that the client receives the appropriate care package and that continuity of care is a priority.
* Providing telephone support to clients and care staff.
* Assisting the Care Manager in auditing the standard of service delivery to clients by:
o Conducting spot checks and supervisions.
o Administering client satisfaction questionnaires.
o Attending review meetings with clients, families, local authorities, and health personnel as required.
o Creating and updating client care plans.
o Completing any other administrative procedures required by the Care Manager.
o Assisting with Care Workers interviews and compliance.
o Assisting with Risk Management training for all existing Care Workers.
o Completing the Risk Assessments and care plans for all care packages.
o Checking and supervising Care Workers' competence in the delivery of medication to clients and the practical application of Manual Handling techniques.
This is a permanent full-time job, and you MUST be a driver with your own transport.
Salary will be £24,000 - £27,000 + great benefits and career progression!
