Seeking a Chef that has experience in Early Years nutrition and food preparation for children 0-8 years. Also seeking someone with a a NVQ/ BTEC Cooking qualification or from overseas, additional certificates and training in food preparation, food hygiene
Starting salary:
£28,000- £29,000pa + further training, career progression opportunities, no evenings or weekends, paid holidays.
Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Day time shifts only. No evenings or weekends.
Job description:
Oversee the complete running of the nursery kitchen
Produce nutritional dishes for children in line with recipes,
Plan weekly menu,
Monitor allergens and will remain vigilant to every dish ensuring each child’s health and dietary requirements are safeguarded in this regard.
Using fresh ingredients, ordering stocks and supplies
Ensure Health and Safety in the work place at all times
