You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a gentleman who lives in Runcorn and requires a care team to support him throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.
He is very upbeat and loves chatting away and having banter with his family and care team. He is a big football fan and supports Everton football club, he loves watching them on TV and when possible, visiting the stadium to watch them play.
At home, he enjoys watching his favourite detective and murder mystery TV programmes as well as listening and singing along to his favourite songs on YouTube.
Throughout the day you will be required to provide support with his personal care, moving and handling requirements, attending to his clinical care needs, and supporting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.
It is essential you have received your Covid vaccinations for this position
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in following areas:
1. 3 months' previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
5. Covid Vaccinations
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
6. Spinal Injury Management
Shifts Available
7. Full Time and Part Time
8. Days: 8am – 5:30pm
9. 12:30pm – 8:30pm
10. Nights: 8pm – 9am
11. Alternate weekends are needed for this position
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£123.50 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)
Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£182 approx. per 13-hour shift)
Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£195 approx. per 13-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £17.00 per hour (£221 approx. per 13-hour shift)
