Claims Administrator - Life & Pensions
Capita are looking for a Claims Administrator to join us working with a key Life & Pensions client, within a well-established and experienced team. This position will present an opportunity for plenty of customer contact, as well as potential to progress within the organisation in the future.
The role is part-time, working 25 hours per week, on a hybrid arrangement, mainly working from home, with a need for visits to the offices in Swindon or Cheltenham. You’ll need to be based within commuting distance from both locations.

Job Description:
What will you deliver?
* Communicating with customers via both telephone and in writing regarding their bereavement claims.
* Chasing customers on outstanding information required for their claims.
* Performing administration duties on claims.
* Contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
* General administrative duties.
What are we looking for?
* Previous administration experience in an FCA regulated financial services environment and/or claims experience in a back-office environment, ideally within the Life & Pensions sector. Full training can be provided on claims processes as long as the incumbent is willing to learn.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and orally, as this will involve plenty of customer contact.
* Strong professional customer service skills, as some communications with customers will be with vulnerable people who have recently suffered bereavement or illness.
* Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, etc., and the ability to learn new software quickly.
* Self-reliant, able to manage workloads effectively.
