Job Advert: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias - Basic Electrical Experience)

About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out planned servicing and reactive maintenance/repairs on machinery.
2. Investigating and diagnosing breakdown issues to ensure minimal downtime.
3. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
4. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
1. Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
2. Experience working with heavy machinery, plasma machines, and a Zemon machine (100 metres long). Desirable.
3. Hydraulics & Pneumatics - Essential
4. Basic Welding - Desirable
5. Mechanical engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship.
6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
