Amazon is seeking Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.
1. Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
2. Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
3. Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
4. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Other requirements:
1. Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
2. Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).
3. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
3. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
