Job Type: Permanent Location: This role will be based in our Telford office, offering flexible and hybrid working, with time spent between the office and working from home. The role This role is key to sustain the continued growth within in the function and will contribute to the successful development of the Phoenix Group Asset Management vision, particularly in delivering a world-class Asset Management function. The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with Front office teams and have a good understanding of the trade lifecycle from both an investment and operational perspective. You will have an unwavering attention to detail as you collaborate with internal and external teams involved in managing and supporting the fund’s operation to deliver agreed outputs as part of the project. You will also be responsible for developing the requirements to make changes to the funds or the operating model that support them subsequently working with the business areas to develop solutions to satisfy those requirements. What are we looking for? Essential Highly experienced business analyst, applying business analysis tools / methods / techniques across a range of medium and large-scale projects and programmes Previous UK market experience in asset management, pensions and highly regulated environments Direct experience of the trade lifecycle and working in a direct investing environment, processes, ways of working Experience working with the Aladdin system and gathering and interpreting business process and technical requirements Understanding of the different types of collective investment vehicles and an appreciation of the differences that exist between them and how those differences can affect fund change Experience working as part of a project team, eliciting requirements, engaging with third party vendors and developing and agreeing operating models to support business activity Ability to document operating models, decision trees and other organisation design templates. Ability to present findings, gain consensus and support for recommendations and next steps to senior internal stakeholders We want to hire the whole version of you.
