My client, a leading distribution company based in Andover is looking to recruit a Stock Controller on a full time, permanent basis. To succeed in this role, candidates will have experience within stock control and have excellent attention to detail. Duties of Stock controllerwill include: Investigating stock issues and discrepancies. Dealing with pick errors and liaising with the correct department. Update the warehouse management system to ensure an accurate stock record is maintained. Track all stock movements within warehouse, minimising stock adjustments & losses. Maintain a safe, secure and tidy warehouse environment. Stock checking, sometimes manually counting items individually where required. Investigating missing items and liaising with warehouse managers. Answering stock queries from Customer Service by phone/email. Stock consolidation. Quality control of stock items. Key Skills & Experience: Must have an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in a similar role within a warehouse is desirable. Computer literate and have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Flexible can do attitude. Self-accountability/motivation. Working hours are 6.00 - 14.30 Monday to Friday covering 40 hrs per week. The salary is £28,400 per annum.
