Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Bookkeeper into their team on a part time, permanent basis.
Duties will include but are not limited:
1. To Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
2. Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and reconcile bank statements
3. VAT returns
4. Reconciling Accounts
5. Proactively chasing outstanding arrears and payments
6. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
7. Collaborate with the management to create and manage budgets
8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
9. Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors
The ideal candidate will:
10. Have previous experience from a similar role
11. Have a Proof of completed training as an accountant
12. Have a good understanding of Accounting
13. Have good IT and finance system skills, as well as good MS Excel skills
14. Possess excellent communication and attention to detail skills
