About The Role

As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations.
This is a mobile role, working predominantly in the Yeovil location. You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring and monitoring.
- Quality Workmanship: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, complying with building regulations and safety requirements.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to our customers, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintenance and Testing: Perform periodic testing and installation work, ensuring compliance with current best practices and guidelines.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for you and our customers.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve departmental goals, and deliver exceptional service.
- On-Call Participation: Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota and attend meetings and training as required.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis - working 40 hours per week.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Electrician, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Post Qualification Experience: Proven experience in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of responsive maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing electrical faults, performing periodic testing, and carrying out installation work.
- Customer Focus: Experience working in customers' homes, demonstrating a professional and positive approach.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- IT Skills: Proficient in the use and application of mobile technology.
- Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications Required:
- Core Apprenticeship, 2360 parts 1 & 2 or equivalent (NVQ3, City and Guilds)
- AM2 or equivalent.
- 18th Edition BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations
- Desirable: Test and Inspect 2391.
- Desirable: PV (Photovoltaic), and EESS (Electrical Energy Storage Systems).
