Location: Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex
Working Hours: 8 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm (flexible)
Salary: £14.84 per hour

Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38 million leisure facility which includes the development of Northern Ireland’s first FINA standard 50 metre swimming pool and a £15 million investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) administered by Sport Northern Ireland. The complex offers an excellent choice of sporting and leisure facilities.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sports Development team by identifying and securing funding opportunities for the Northern Community Leisure Trust. This position requires collaboration with Sector 3 and other stakeholders to enhance community engagement and promote leisure initiatives – which will in turn assist in prioritising areas for which to seek grant funding.

5. Administrative support

About you
To be considered for this role, it is desirable that you have previous experience in grant writing, funding administration, or a related field. You will have excellent research, writing, communication, and organisational skills, as well as good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Lastly, you will be passionate about community development and leisure activities, proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and be adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
