HR Officer – Busy generalist role!
If you are a proactive HR professional who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment this role could be for you. We’re looking for an HR Officer to join a small team that provides expert support and guidance to stakeholders, handling a wide range of HR matters with confidence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong business relationships and offer excellent HR support
* Advise on policies, procedures, and employment law compliance
* Manage end-to-end Employee Relations (ER) cases, including disciplinary and grievance investigations
* Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
* Conduct interviews and provide candidate feedback
* Design and deliver bespoke training programs
* Manage external provider relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions
* Maintain and improve HR systems, including intranet and recruitment platforms
* Drive HR initiatives and contribute to departmental improvements
What We’re Looking For:
CIPD qualified or equivalent experience in a professional services environment
Strong HR knowledge with end-to-end ER case management experience
Confident communicator with the ability to influence decisions
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
Good understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Positive mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Experience with HR systems (Workday knowledge is a plus!)
