Cedar Grove Vets have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team in Belfast. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse wanting to develop their career, or a recent graduate who wants to join a supportive team.
Cedar Grove Vets are looking for a dedicated and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to undertake the following duties:
1. Nurse consultations including weight clinics, 6 month checks, nail trimming, and nutrition chats.
2. Patient nursing including critical care patient nursing, scrub nurse duties, patient triage, blood sampling and catheter placement.
3. Anesthetics of mainly small animals and occasionally exotics.
4. Radiography, lab and microscope work.
5. Puppy socialisation classes.
6. Maintaining health and safety standards and hygiene protocols.
We have excellent high-end facilities along with a fully equipped imaging suite which includes an MRI and CT.

Working up to 25 hours per week across an 8 week rolling rota, with 1:4 weekends and a share of the OOH rota. We can consider flexible working as we understand the importance of balancing home life with your work life.
Salary up to £32,000 DOE pro rata.
Who are we?
We are a progressive first opinion, small animal, RCVS-accredited hospital with a growing referral caseload. We have excellent surgical, medical, and diagnostic facilities including in-house MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and X-ray facilities. High-level inpatient care is maintained by our nursing team providing 24hr coverage at the clinic.
The practice is situated in affluent South Belfast, a cosmopolitan, growing city with much to offer both socially and for outdoor enthusiasts.
Who will you be working with?
Our team at Cedar Grove is led by a team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants, and 12 support staff. We have a range of Vets with additional qualifications and certificates, and several working towards further qualifications in Orthopaedics, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Neurology.
