However you may be based elsewhere in the country and be interested in living by the sea. Relocation support is available for the right candidate. The Plymouth Life Centre, boasts over 1.5 million customer visits annually – as the General Manager you will take full charge of the centre’s operations. This includes overseeing Heads of Departments (HODs) and driving the team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service. You'll lead by example, with a strong focus on delivering top-notch service, particularly in growing the fitness and swim school sectors. We're seeking an inspiring, motivated leader who thrives in a vibrant environment. You’ll ensure that your team operates in a positive, proactive atmosphere, making the centre a welcoming place for all visitors. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll oversee a large team, maintaining regular communication with the executive management. Key Requirements: Qualification in Leisure Management Level 3 or equivalent 5 years of management experience in the leisure industry, covering both pool and dry-side operations At least 3 years of experience managing a busy community wellbeing facility or within the sports sector Proven track record of driving commercial success and service improvement Familiarity with managing facilities that meet Quest and other quality standards What’s in it for you?
