This role involves designing and developing electrical and electronic solutions to support a range of cutting-edge systems and products. About the Role: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating electrical systems, from power distribution and control panels to analogue and digital circuits. You will play a key role in system evaluations, prototyping, testing, and technical documentation, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and instrumentation. Develop and maintain analogue and digital circuits, including component selection and evaluation. Conduct system requirement evaluations and define technical solutions. Generate test documentation, interface specifications, and supplier reports. Support the test department with prototype and first-of-class testing. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for customers and senior management. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning. Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project management teams to ensure seamless system integration.Skills and Experience Required: Essential: HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent demonstrable experience). Strong electrical design skills, particularly in industrial wiring and system interconnection. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience using electrical test equipment for fault-finding and prototype testing. Excellent technical report writing skills to support compliance and proposals. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to different audiences. Experience with electrical design calculations and analysis.Desirable: Experience working with industry standards. Familiarity with PCB layout packages.
