Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and fixtures. This role requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks as needed. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Responsibilities
* Install plumbing components in domestic properties on social housing contracts.
* Use power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
* Perform welding tasks as required for pipe repairs or installations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the job site.
Experience
* Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
* Basic maths skills for measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes accurately.
* Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment safely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £180.00-£260.00 per day
