Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join the management team at our SKODA Dealership in Coventry.
The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working Sundays on a rota basis.
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £70,000.
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities
1. You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customer’s expectations; ensuring that our customers' buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensuring they are resolved effectively.
2. Support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, and professional vehicle preparation while ensuring that stock is kept to the company’s agreed levels.
3. Drive the sales process and support the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to ensure budgetary sales/profit forecasts are achieved.
4. Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
5. Ensure that the sales team accurately collects all customer contact and vehicle data to maximize the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations).
About you
1. You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller, or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities.
2. You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPIs and brand standards.
3. You must be able to demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as exceptional customer satisfaction.
4. You need to have strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a real passion for the brand.
5. Motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
