Job summary We are looking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic person to join the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Team as an Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will be expected to provide administration support to a team of clinical and operational staff, respond to working under pressure within a busy a working environment. It is essential that the postholder will have a flexible approach to work to support team members and to meet service demands. Whilst previous hospital experience is not essential, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide excellent customer service, and will have IT skills. The ability to communicate effectively and handling sensitive situations is essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines ensuring effective service delivery. A working knowledge of WPAS is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A knowledge of the hospital's Patient Administration System, is desirable, although training will be given. The ability to speak Welsh would be beneficial but is not essential.
