About the role: We have a rare opportunity for an Account Manager from a technical background to join the successful team at our key clients' sites based at a static site in Birmingham. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Account Manager to motivate and drive the team to deliver on our commitments and relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of the front and back of house teams, cleaning, building services maintenance and compliance, ensuring that contracts are staffed by fully competent teams, ensuring post holders are fully competent, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place.
2. Management and delivery of Extra Works and Small M&E/Fabric Projects.
3. Experience running a P&L ensuring budget achievement.
4. Raising all Specialist Sub Contractor annual orders, and monitoring output and performance of sub-contractors.
5. Ensure contractual commitments, including financial, are met in accordance with agreed SLA's and other commitments within the contract and assessed performance standards.
6. Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract.
7. Lead and motivate the team, deliver excellence in sustainable hard M&E and Fabric service provisions.
8. Liaise effectively with key client stakeholders.
9. Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, quality, environmental, and security standards.
10. Implement and safeguard best practices for commercial activity.
11. Manage specialists and suppliers for dynamic MI reporting.
12. Ensure KPI/SLA targets are delivered.

Candidate requirements:
1. The ideal candidate is client-facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer).
2. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, with a proven track record of delivering high service levels on a portfolio with fast-paced and exacting standards.
3. Strong building services background.
4. At least five years' experience in a management role.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, change management expertise, and financial/commercial acumen.
