Warwick District Council looks after approximately 5500 homes, 500 leases and circa 2000 garages. We are continually looking at innovative ways to help support people to maintain their homes and stay debt free, particularly in the current cost of living crisis. You therefore have an exciting opportunity to join our Landlord Operations Team to help the with our housing management function and support our tenants to get out of rent arrears and other debts in order to successfully manage and maintain their tenancies. The successful candidate will provide support, advice and guidance to customers helping those in need to make wise financial choices. Subsequently you will be a key asset in assisting customers to maximise their income, ensuring our residents are claiming all benefit entitlements and any grant payments that help to maintain their home and are able to maintain rent payments to WDC, particularly helping those in rent arrears to clear any balance owed to WDC. This role is about taking responsibility for customer satisfaction by making sure that where possible all enquiries are resolved at the first point of contact. The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, office and hybrid working are also available.
