Operationally manage all resuscitation services across the Trust. To provide professional advice and consultancy to the Trust on all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation including policy, risk assessment, infection control, equipment purchase and audit. To initiate research and implement and monitor robust audit mechanisms for cardiac arrest calls, equipment, DNACPR (ReSPECT), training needs analysis, effectiveness of clinical practice and training outcomes. To lead, co-ordinate and deliver appropriate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation training to all Trust staff and learners. Operationally manage the resuscitation skills room as a multi professional education and training resource. Work in collaboration with other clinical education providers to provide high quality accredited courses. To manage the resuscitation education budget and income generated through accredited courses. Provide specialist knowledge, advice and guidance on resuscitation education and related issues for all staff and managers within the Trust. Promote and support an active approach to resuscitation education and service development across the Trust. Act as the Lead for resuscitation and present reports to Resuscitation Committee, Learning Operations Group and Patient Safety Learning Collaborative Group when necessary.
