Job Description
As a Section Manager, you’ll support the running of the evenings shift working closely with other Managers and Supervisors to lead the team(s), focusing on performance and talent management for all team members, supporting personal development plans alongside coaching and upskilling to deliver for our Operation and our valued Customers.
You’ll also work with key stakeholders including Strategic Planning, Core Operations, Automation, Flow Room, and ICQA and other functions including IT, H&S, HR Business Partner/People team and Agency Supplier Partners assuring daily targets are met. You’ll own the Lux agenda with the Lux team and take responsibility for delivering OKRs.
Qualifications
4. Direct line management and coaching of Supervisors driving performance through your teams, including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, agreeing SMART goals and providing an environment where colleagues understand the part they play in delivering for our customers
5. Driving performance on key metrics and delivery to plan, ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil customer web and store demand on time and in full
6. Monitoring delivery to plan and key areas for your shift
7. Holding monthly inbound/outbound performance forums
8. Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures
9. Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, flagging any issues/feedback. Signing off with submission to Shift / Warehouse Manager.
10. Providing detail to Shift / Warehouse Manager when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
