Job Description
Make your mark as Senior Technical Superintendent for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. You provide technical and marine operational support and guidance to the Subsea Fleet, working as a key member of the Fleet Management team.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Technical Superintendent:
* Working as a key member of the Fleet Management team, responsible for large or complex planned equipment repairs/modifications
* Supporting the Fleet and Vessel Manager with the planning and organisation of repair and maintenance activities within the Fleet management system
* Actively participating in onshore project HIRA’s, ensuring marine operational risks are identified and suitable control measures put in place
* Providing technical expertise in key vessel areas to support the Fleet Management team and the Business unit
* Undertake regular audits of the vessels and their operating procedures highlighting and reporting on any anomalies and their associated close out actions
Qualifications
You can make your mark as a Senior Technical Superintendent if you have:
* Previous relevant experience as Snr Ranked Engineer/officer onboard a DSV or DP offshore vessel
* Relevant experience in the operation of DP vessels and experience of DP systems including FMEA process
* Fully conversant with the legislative and regulatory requirements for marine assets
* Competent MS Office user, with experience of writing detailed technical reports
* Display excellent communication skills, strong team player, and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Valid offshore certification and experience of working with dive support vessels (desirable)
