We are recruiting for Casual Swimming Tutors at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Sports and Leisure Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £14.36 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The role would require the postholder to creatively plan, supervise and deliver professional, well structured, innovative swimming lessons in line with The National Teaching Plan for Swimming, encouraging more people, to become more active more often. The instructor will be responsible for supervising, motivating and teaching members of the public. Hours would mainly be evenings and weekends.
The successful applicant will develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with all key partners including Senior Officers, Managers, other instructors, staff and members of the public.
Candidates applying would need to be ASA Level 1 or Level 2/ STA Award in Teaching Level 1 or Level 2.
For the role, we ask that you have:
1. Commitment towards continuous professional development.
2. Up to date knowledge and understanding of the National Teaching Plan for swimming.
3. Ability to travel extensively throughout the county borough.
