The Role:
We are seeking a Head of Procurement to provide strategic leadership for the University of Portsmouth’s procurement function, delivering institutional priorities outlined in the 2025 Strategy and 2030 Vision.
The postholder will ensure the procurement function is responsive to the needs of the University, delivering value for money whilst maintaining compliance with procurement legislation and University regulations.
The postholder will collaborate with stakeholders across the University to inform, prepare, and manage a pipeline of compliant procurement activity and effective post-tender contract management.
Flexible working may be available for this role and can be discussed at interview. The department works on a hybrid model, on-site 2-3 days per week, subject to business requirements.
