Job Description
Part of a larger group, this well-established Design and manufacturer has a reputation for product excellence and innovation. They are a niche product manufacturer and supply a number of FMCG industries and sectors. Their products are in even higher demand due to the changing nature of their customers' needs.
They require a Development Engineer with a strong R&D background to develop their varied, often bespoke products.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside the Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, supporting the ongoing development of new and legacy products.
2. Design components and products using SolidWorks.
3. Evaluate new product specifications.
4. Take new customer enquiries through the development lifecycle, from prototype stage through to final test, report writing, and customer handover.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience of developing Electrical - Mechanical products.
2. Ability to perform hands-on tooling and machine setup.
3. Experience of Product Testing and GD&T.
4. Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
