As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing companionship, home help, and assisting with washing and dressing, to older people within their homes. Job Description Care Assistant Benefits: Excellent pay rates - from £12.15 to £16.10 per hour, double time bank holiday enhanced rates. Types of hours available - From 16hrs to 35 hours available. Mostly, we make 2-hour calls, but never less than 1-hour - you have the time needed with the client. Area - We always try to keep you as close to home as possible. Mileage - 0.35p per mile after the first 7 Taking Clients out in your car - 0.45p per mile. Exclusive discounts scheme - at supermarkets, utility providers and more Care Assistant responsibilities: Being a companion is a highly rewarding career, where no two days are the same With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care. Duties can include: Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction. This is an extremely important part of your visit. Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework. Accompanying to appointments or shopping. Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent. Qualifications No qualifications are needed. We provide all your training in-house. Care experience is welcomed but not essential.
