IT Field Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Field Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a wide range of IT systems and equipment across the Surrey area. You will play a pivotal role in resolving technical issues, implementing solutions, and delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their technology needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
2. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software at client locations, including workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
3. Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
4. Provide proactive maintenance to optimize system performance and reliability.
5. Client Engagement:
6. Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
7. Deliver safeguarding training and awareness where applicable.
8. Continuous Improvement:
9. Show initiative by completing additional online training relevant to the role.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
1. Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
2. Proven experience in a similar technical support role.
3. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
