Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 FTE (£19,443 - £19,748 pro rata)
We are seeking to appoint a committed and talented Learning Support Assistant with cover responsibilities to work at Hazel Leys Academy
The role:
The successful post holder will work alongside teachers to plan and teach exciting and engaging learning opportunities. The post holder will also provide class cover in the absence of the teacher including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.
To be successful you will possess:
excellent communication skills at all levels
the ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
You will be able to demonstrate a range of teaching and behavioural management techniques, which facilitate a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve high standards.
