Located in Solihull
£28,000 per year, plus sleep ins are paid at an additional £60 per sleep
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working and supporting children and young people to create positive outcomes and promote independence
2. Supporting the daily running of the home and Senior Management decisions
3. Leading teams
4. Conducting Supervisions
5. Shift planning
6. Supporting team development
7. Direct practical interactions with children and young people including play, activities, cooking, personal care, engaging with the wider community, supporting educational and health needs
8. General house duties and maintenance
9. Completing health and safety checks
10. Budgeting
11. Advocacy
12. Engage in planning, creating, updating and implementing care plans
13. Creating, updating and adhering to individual risk assessments
14. Keyworking
15. Working in partnership with other agencies
16. Report writing and attending reviews as required
Required Skills and Attributes:
1. Experience in a children’s home setting (essential)
2. Supervisory experience
3. Passion to help nurture young people
4. Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
5. Full, UK driving licence (essential)
