Role Summary:
In your role as Procurement Associate, you will play a vital role in managing procurement processes for the CompassRock Real Estate portfolio. You will collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of services, supplies and equipment. You will have strong data analysis skills, with the ability to analyse and derive insight from pricing structures and complex datasets.

Key responsibilities:
* Conduct supplier evaluation and selection, negotiations, and contracting.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness (e.g., procurement process, performance reporting).
* Prepare and control procurement and operational documents
* Track contracts and orders using company systems
* Enter purchase order or contract data into management information systems
* Create and review reports
* Maintain collaborative partnerships with suppliers
* Resolve procurement queries promptly
* Escalate emerging risks to necessary stakeholders
* Assist in developing automated procurement procedures
* Write policy documentation
Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel.)
* Supplier Relationship Management: Effective communication with suppliers to ensure quality products at reasonable prices
* Organisation: Attention to detail and multitasking abilities are crucial for managing multiple projects
* Problem Solving: Analysing bids, budgets, and researching products to find solutions
* Attention to Detail: Precise execution of tasks, especially when handling large projects
* Contract Negotiation: Skill in agreeing to terms with suppliers
* Cost Analysis: Understanding cost implications and making informed decisions
* Project Management: Coordinating procurement projects efficiently
* Decision Making: Making informed choices based on company needs
* Communication: informing internal stakeholders of procurement decisions and (where necessary) training on new procurement practices. Preparing and presenting client-facing communications.
Experience:
* At least two years experience in a related field.
* Experience in Facilities Management is preferred.
* Experience in analysing and deriving business strategy insights from complex datasets.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business, Engineering, etc.).
2. Desired: familiarity with purchasing policies, inventory management, and procurement, compliance and property management software. (Meridian, RealPage, SafeContractor, Experian)
Remuneration / Bonuses / Benefits
Base salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Bonus: Discretionary Bonus Scheme

Working Hours:
5-day working week (40 hours) - Monday to Friday.
Location: Office-based (1day WFH).
