Job Summary:
The Treasury Analyst is the point of contact for the agency staff with regards to integration of their banking immediately after acquisition and is responsible for cash management thereafter. This position will also perform basic treasury functions around overall cash management, to include monitoring monthly interest/principal payments, bank fee analysis and efficiency proposals, and bank relationship management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and accurate payments through the management of ACH, wire, and check transactions, including initiation, review, and reconciliation. Work on adding efficiencies to existing processes.
* Prepare elements of, or the entire, 13-week cash forecast to support effective cash flow management and planning.
* Become a power user/admin of Kyriba TMS, focusing on the following items:
1. Mastering Bank Accounts Management and Payment modules.
2. Developing and customizing reports using the Reporting module.
3. Managing core data setup for new bank accounts.
4. Conducting cash positioning within Kyriba TMS.
* Perform daily treasury reconciliation of bank activities, ensuring accurate alignment across systems.
* Initiate and manage cash sweeps from legacy accounts, ensuring smooth transitions to updated systems.
* Collaborate with bank partners to configure, test, and troubleshoot payment processing and file transmission services.
* Assist in developing operational procedures, payment exception tracking, and reporting for continuous improvement.
* Assist with the integration of new agencies, including setting up bank accounts, managing access, and ensuring Kyriba connections as needed.
* Monitor cash balances and recommend movements between banks or investments as needed, supporting effective liquidity management.
Qualifications:
* BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Or work experience.
* 2+ years of experience in treasury/cash management in a challenging and deadline-oriented environment.
* Experience managing multiple bank accounts across multiple entities.
* Experience using bank platforms.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including intermediate Excel skills.
* The ability to interact and build strong relationships at all levels and across all partners (agencies).
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across a decentralized organization.
* Operate within a collaborative and service-oriented organization.
* Maintain a “do more with less” culture while scaling the platform.
