In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of our client's building surveying department. Your expertise will guide our client's team in delivering top-tier services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and achieving business objectives. Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Management : Grow, lead and mentor a team of building surveyors, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans for the Building Surveying department, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry trends.
* Project Oversight : Oversee all building surveying projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget and to the highest standards.
* Client Relations : Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Quality Assurance : Ensure all surveying activities comply with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Financial Management : Manage departmental budgets, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing financial performance.
* Innovation & Development : Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of surveying operations.
* Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks associated with building projects, ensuring the safety and integrity of all works.
* Reporting & Documentation : Prepare and present comprehensive reports to executive management, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
* Chartered Status : Must be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
* Leadership Skills : Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
